Brief Introduction

These small valves are a type of modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) used in many industries, but they are especially popular in the coffee market. The reason is as follows: When carbon dioxide gas accumulates in the package, the one-way valve allows it to escape while preventing oxygen and other pollutants from entering.

A small piece of plastic usually attached to the front or inside of a coffee package. The one-way valve does not interfere with the packaging graphics, marketing or function.
